Mr. & Mrs. Max Taylor Clifton
will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on December 23, 2008.
Max and Carol were married December 23, 1943 in the Presbyterian Church in
their hometown of Greensburg,
Indiana by Rev. John F. Williams
officiating.
They are the parents of Cynthia Ann Clifton, Boca Raton,
Florida and Nancy Lynn Clifton-Cripe, Indianapolis.
Max attended DePauw
University where he was a
Rector Scholar. He was a Medical Representative with Wyeth Laboratories for 41
years before his retirement in 1986. He is now associated with Paws, Inc. as
Administrative Assistant to Jim Davis.
Carol, the former Carol Nelle Howe, is a graduate of Butler
University and a former teacher in the
Greensburg Public Schools before moving to Terre Haute,
and later to Muncie
in 1963.
A family celebration will mark this anniversary after the first of the year.
