The main Topic of the Mission Team meeting on Thursday January 28 at 4:30 will be hosting young Korean students this summer and teaching them English. Anyone interested in this is welcome to come to our meeting.
We have asked our sister church, Yum Kwang Church, how may we do a joint project. Their answer is that Koreans greatly desire to learn English and this also enables them to be missionaries in Africa and Asia. It is their suggestion that we host young Korean students (perhaps 5th and 6th grade) for a few weeks this summer. The students would have Muncie host families and take some classes at church in English and Bible study. This will be the topic of the January mission team meeting. Please come to help start this project.
