 McNabney Scholarship

MUNCIE -- Bonnie Kaminsky, a 2008 graduate of Burris Laboratory School, is the 2008 recipient of the Dr. William J. McNabney and Thelma V. McNabney Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded to a Delaware County college-bound senior, and provides $5,000 a year for four years of undergraduate study. Recipients are chosen based on moral character, academic ability, extracurricular activities, civic responsibility and potential for leadership and success.

Kaminsky had a 4.0 grade-point average at Burris, and was active in student council, volleyball, track and field and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She plans to attend Butler University and study pharmacy. She is the daughter of Leonard Kaminsky and Mary Kaminsky.
