Good Afternoon First Presbyterian Friends,

As many of you already know, I will soon be leaving my position as Administrative Assistant at First Presbyterian.  Our family will be moving to Tennessee in July to be with our extended family and near our son who will be attending college in Nashville this fall.  This is one of the most difficult farewells I will ever make because I have not viewed this as only a place of employment; I have had the privilege of sharing your church home and have been made welcome as a part of your family.

I have counted the past two years a blessing as I have watched you lovingly give to those in need, pray for brothers and sisters who are sick, and seek out ways to reach the world around you more effectively  for Christ.  I know that I have grown in my own Christian walk because of conversations shared as well as observing the quiet testimony of so many of you and I am forever grateful to the Lord for having given me such a gift.

My last day will be Friday, June 12th, and a reception is being held on Thursday, June 11th from Noon to 2pm in the Fellowship Hall so I can say goodbye to all of you and to give you an opportunity to welcome Cindy Blake who will take my place in the office.  I hope you can be there; but if for some reason you can’t, please know that in some way, my life was impacted by you and that I will miss you greatly.

Your Sister in Christ,

Lisa Jackson

Administrative Assistant

First Presbyterian Church
