MUNCIE ARTISTS GUILD has announced winners of its annual juried show, "Inspirations and Explorations," on display through Sunday in Minnetrista Cultural Center. There are 70 pieces in the show.

The judge was award-winning artist Angel Mercado.

He gave the following awards:

First Place-Oils, Judge's Choice and Best of Show: Susie Morgan for her oil painting, The Village-Circa 1950.

Oils: Kay Kirby, second place; Sandy Beitsinger, third place: Susie Morgan, Liz Guntle and Jean McCauley, honorable mention.

Acrylics: Nancy Norris, first place; Sylvia LaRue, second and third place.

Photography: Caryn Braden, first place: Jean McCauley, second and third place.

Watercolor: Cindy Disney, first place; Michelle Wilson, second and third place.

Drawing: Pat Taylor, first and second place.

Mixed Media: Michele Wilson, first and second place; Pat Taylor, third place.

First Merchants Bank Merit Award: Jean McCauley.

Annie's Arbor Merit Award: Liz Guntle.
