Seniors named DAR Good Citizens

MUNCIE -- Eight local high school seniors have been named Good Citizens for 2007-08 by the Paul Revere Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution.

Winners will be recognized at awards night, at 7 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.

Students were chosen based on their dependability, leadership and patriotism. All will receive DAR Good Citizens pins and certificates. The first-place winner will receive a $100 cash prize.

Students chosen as Good Citizens are:

ยท  Bonnie Kaminsky, daughter of Leonard and Mary Kaminsky, Burris Laboratory School. Kaminsky has volunteered more than 200 hours at Ball Memorial Hospital, is a member of four state championship volleyball teams and is student council president, Key Club secretary and Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle leader.
