Why a Small Group? Jesus' call to follow him is an invitation to a whole new way of life, and we need to be in relationships with others to truly be disciples of Jesus. Small groups are not about simple community; they are places which build authentic disciples of Jesus in the context of spiritual community. That is exactly what Jesus intends for us. If you want to know Jesus more and live for him with your whole life, then a Small Group is the place for you.

Is there a commitment? Groups meet every other week during mid-September through April. The time commitment is not large, but we do hope you will stay with your group for at least a year. There are, however, easy ways to move out of your group should you feel the need to do so. |

Making Disciples by: Inviting Others Engaging the Word Encouraging Community |
What do groups do?
Groups engage in the Word through Bible-based study, share and care for one another through supportive community, and invite others to be a part of the ministry (Engaging, Encouraging, Inviting). Most groups use a three-part format which includes sharing, study, and prayer together. Some groups do additional activities such as missions service together, dinners together, and get-togethers outside normal meeting times
What does "Inviting" mean? One of the objectives of Small Groups is to invite others. This means that your group will seek to develop new group leaders and will be open to new people who are invited through the regular relationships of Small Group members. Groups are always open because God calls us to share his gift of community with others.
