The school year generally begins the last week of August and runs into the middle of May.  Vacation days are scheduled throughout the year.

ENROLLMENT ADMISSIONS POLICY

Enrollment begins each February for the following school year.  Contact the Director to obtain enrollment materials, or if you need additional information.  Students are eligible for enrollment if they are 2, 3 or 4 years old by September 1st of the year for which they attend school.  Children eligible for the 3 and up classes must be potty trained.

CLASS SIZE

Class sizes are limited to 10 students for the 2 year old class, 14 students in the 3-year old classes and 20 students in the 4/5-year old classes.  There is a teacher and teacher assistant in each classroom.

FACILITIES

Classrooms are arranged to facilitate learning, play and social development.  A wide variety of activities allow children to explore their world.  Pre-K classrooms are located on the first floor of First Presbyterian Church.  Additionally, a fenced-in outdoor playground and a carpeted multipurpose room (Youth Hall) are available for recreation

 PARENT'S DAY OUT PROGRAM

Parent’s Day Out is offered on Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am—noon.

Children must be 15 months-age 5.  Cost is $7 per day with a $12 supply fee per semester.  This program offers interactive play, craft time, snack and music. 

Pre-school students may go after morning pre-school into the PDO class for $2 a day.  Pick up is at 12 noon.
