Elma E. Haecker, 89 Elma E. Haecker, 89, passed away Saturday morning, May 10, 2008, at her residence following a brief illness. She was born on November 16, 1918 in Mrs. Haecker was employed at Durham Manufacturing Company during WWII. She was also employed at Kiser Plating Company and Creviston Steel. She was a member of Warner Gear sympathy Club. Surviving are three daughters, Stella "Judy" Routh (husband-David), Muncie, Wilma Ackerman (husband-John), Onalaska, TX, and Elizabeth A. Fowler (husband-Pat), Ovida, FL; two sons, Bill Haecker (wife-Connie), Onalaska, TX and Harold Haecker, Muncie; two sisters, Marie McBeth (husband-Bill), Jamestown, TN and Martha Dean (husband-Willis), Randolph, TX; her sister-in-law, Edith Sells, Muncie; six grandchildren, Danny Routh (wife-Anita), Muncie, Vickie Lupisella (husband-John), New Hope, PA, Michael Routh (wife-Cindy), Muncie, Aimee Haecker, Onalaska, TX, Bill Haecker, Houston, TX, and Gabriel Fowler, Ovida, FL; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years, Arthur W. Haecker in 1986; and four brothers, Earl, Ernest, J.B., and Harold Sells. Services will be held in The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Burial will follow in Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday or one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
