MUNCIE - A. Joyce Siefert, 80, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Muncie Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born October 25, 1929 in Fayette County, IN to Orville B. and Blanche (Brake) Applegeet.

Mrs. Siefert was a graduate of Everton High School in Everton, IN.

Surviving are her eleven children, Janice Leiphart (Charles), Muncie, Jill McDaniel (Mike), Muncie, James Siefert (Karen), Muncie, Johnna Ramer (Steve), Plymouth, IN, Jane Venegas (Jim), Tinley Park, IL, Joy Sheffield, Muncie, Jeff Siefert (Anita), West Liberty, OH, Jean Kutter, Sweetzer, IN, John Paul Siefert (Julie), Lithia, FL, Joleen Knotts (Kevin), Connersville, IN, and Jaret Siefert (Chris Liner), Rocky Face, GA; three sisters, Carolyn Clark, Williamsburg, IN, Charlotte Kidd (Forest), Liberty, IN and Sharon Blomeyer (Roy), Richmond, IN; thirty grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Siefert was preceded in death by her parents; and five siblings.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2010 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Mrs. Siefert's grandson, Rev. Bryan Siefert of Bahama, NC will officiate. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, and one hour prior to services on Friday.
